I'm not even exaggerating after all my years of baking these blondies are quite possibly the best baked good I’ve ever made. I gave some to friends and I was sad I didn't keep more for myself! Perfectly sweet and the perfect texture, these blondies will easily impress! Chopping quality chocolates adds such a rich flavor. Plus you only need one bowl! Share with family, friends, or just treat yourself because these are seriously so addicting.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups chopped chocolate chunks (mix of dark & milk, peanut butter cups or caramel chocolates for extra goodness)
1) Line a 9x13 glass baking dish with parchment paper.
2) Preheat the oven to 325.
3) Chop a variety of quality chocolates into two cups of chocolate chunks. For the best flavor, I like to mix dark chocolates, milk chocolates, peanut butter cups, and caramel chocolates. Set aside.
4) In an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugars.
5) Beat in eggs and vanilla.
6) Mix in salt, baking soda, and flour one cup at a time.
7) Stir in chocolate chunks with a spatula as to not crush the pieces.
8) Spread evenly in pan and bake for 35 minutes until golden brown.
